Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms by inspecting the work of Room Attendants and Houseperson’s and to identify/report maintenance issues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of six months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Display friendliness and helpfulness at all times, to Members, Guests, Visitors, Business Partners and fellow Employee Partners.

  • Adhere to all Property and Department policies and procedures.
  • Observe all safety and security procedures. Use equipment and material properly. Report potentially unsafe conditions.
  • Inspect guest rooms; follow-up with Housekeeping staff as needed to address issues.
  • Use phone system to record room status.
  • Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping office.
  • Monitor schedule of room pulls and mattress flips.
  • Check inventory and maintain adequate supplies of all Linen Room items.
  • Compile daily assignment sheets; ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Complete evening reports on the status of all rooms in the assigned area; ensure proper hand-off with Expeditor.
  • Assign special projects to Room Attendants and Horseperson’s daily to maintain cleanliness in rooms and public areas.
  • Ensure all assigned equipment is maintained in a clean and working order.
  • Answer telephones and provide office support in the department as needed.
  • Transport departmental employees as necessary.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
