Perform all methods of cookery, portion control, garnishing of dishes and follow recipes in accordance with standards set forth by Pinehurst. Follow direction of Resort Executive Chef, Managing Chef and/or Sous Chefs in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, taste and production. In this position, you will be expected to be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets, depending on business levels. In addition, you will be expected to work holidays, wherever needed, even if your primary outlet is closed.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and a minimum of 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be attending and or graduating from an approved culinary program.
Have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
APPEARANCE AND GROOMING:
Appearance should be professional and appropriate to kitchen activities. Shoes must be sturdy with non-skid soles. All Employee Partners must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (for specifics, refer to the Pinehurst Employee Partner Guide).
