Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the cleanliness of the Public Space areas of the Resort.

 

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of three months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Display friendliness and helpfulness at all times, to Members, Guests, Visitors, Business Partners and fellow Employee Partners.
  • Adhere to all Property and Department policies and procedures.
  • Observe all safety and security procedures. Use equipment and material properly. Report potentially unsafe conditions.
  • Clean all carpet in lobbies, hallways, stairways and other assigned areas.
  • Dust or clean all furniture, moldings, ledges, pictures, wall decorations and fixtures.
  • Wipe mirrors and windows.
  • Dust or clean floors, door frames, and polish all brass hardware on doors.
  • Dust or clean stair railings, window and door sills and hardwood floor sections.
  • Clean ash urns and ashtrays in all areas, and remove trash from trash containers.
  • Clean all telephone areas, and resupply standard amenities.
  • Clean all public and personnel bathrooms, remove trash, and resupply amenities.
  • Clean all assigned outside areas, such as patios, porches and landings. Keep outdoor furniture in good condition and organized.
  • Vacuum and dust in the dining room and lounge.
  • During season, maintain swimming pool restrooms and towel supply; keep pool furniture organized and remove trash.
  • Ensure proper cleaning of The Spa:
  • Maintain the salon area, conference room, fitness room, pool area, steam room, dry sauna, locker rooms, hot tub areas, changing rooms, bath & shower rooms, and treatment rooms as noted on the daily assignment sheet. (Sections A, B, C, D)
  • Dust woodwork in main lobby (wall bench, doors & frames, Registration Desk). Sweep or vacuum wood floor.
  • Main entrance - clean glass doors (both sides) wipe off door frame.
  • Sweep porch (check for cobwebs, check planters for cigarette butts); wipe down rockers.
  • Remove trash.
  • Vacuum carpet.
  • Damp mop wood floors (water only, no Murphy's oil soap).
  • Maintain cleanliness of the employee locker rooms when requested.
  • Clean bathrooms (toilet, showers, all fixtures, walls and doors) empty trash, sweep and mop floors inside bathrooms and locker area.
  • Clean and restock attendant carts at end of shift.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
